Lynda K Barley Robinson (aka: 'Merlynda The Children's Poet/KittyPigfish') is a Full Member of Equity, an LLAM of LAMDA with 4 Honours Medals in Public Speaking, Speech and Acting, Fully CRB-Checked, a Member of The Poetry Society and The International StoryTelling Network (RIC).

She is a multi Award-Winning Poet, a professional Poetry Judge, a published Short Story Author, an Author on Illustration and Art, a published and much-performed Satire and Comedy Monologist and Speechwriter, a former Magazine Columnist with The Observer Series of Newspapers, an Award-Winning Cartoonist-Illustrator, an Award-Winning Songwriter - and a professional Caricaturist and Cartoonist-Illustrator.

Also in 2011, she was the second Prize Award-Winner of The Poetry In Mind Award for her Dark-Horror Poem:  'Judgement, Treatment & Care'

In 2012, she was the Highly-Commended Award-Winner of 'The Portico Poetry Prize' - and -

She was also a Finalist in 'The National Poetry Slam 2015'.

In 2009, she Won 'The Leaf Bookjacket Illustration Award' for her Bookjacket Illustration: 'Message In The Bottle & Other Stories' which is now published by Leaf Books.

Her Illustrations have been exhibited nationally and internationally and have been included in the following Jury-Selected Exhibitions:

The Royal Watercolour Society, Britain's Painters '91, The Pastel Society, The International Grand Prix of Watercolourists (France), The USA Exhibition, The International Salon Dessin Presse (regularly since 1996), at The Raw Gallery, at Hays Galleria, at The KM Gallery. at The Seagate Gallery, at The Collective Gallery, Edinburgh, at The Northbank Artists Gallery, and at The Harvey Gallery, among many others - and her cartoons and caricatures have represented Great Britain at The International Salon of Newspaper Cartoonists & Caricaturists since 1996.

Other of her Illustrations have also been auctioned by Christies and Phillips Fine Art and her Art Publications credits include: Illustration: A Publication for Illustration Students by  A. Male (Illustration Lecturer at Falmouth University) and Published by Thames & Hudson.

In addition, she received a 'Highly-Commended Award' for her Dramatic Opera Song: "Scorpions Des Villes" by the Judges of the BNMF and Judges of The William Matthias Composers Award and has been a Semi-Finalist on 5 occasions in The UK Songwriting Contest.

She is frequently invited to perform her Poetry on Commercial Radio and BBC Radio stations around the south of England - and on Hospital Radio, and is invited to be a Poetry Judge & 'Duologue-writing Judge' for Poetry Competitions, Writing Groups/Clubs, Scriptwriting Competitions and Organisations.
