Summary - Magazine Background Information:
To celebrate the launch of a new UK-based Horror, Gothic-Horror and Dark Poetry Monthly MagazineThe Poetry Box Horror & Dark Poetry Magazine Monthly - edited, compiled and published by the founder of The Poetry Box Studio in Hampshire, LK Barley Robinson - The Poetry Box International Horror, Gothic-Horror & Dark Poetry Silver Trophy Cup Competition 2012 was created and announced in January 2012. This unique Horror and Dark Poetry Competition has attracted excellent, exciting, spine-tingling and thought-provoking Horror and Dark Poetry from both within the UK and from around the world.  The Entries are currently being judged by the Editor LK Barley Robinson who is an award-winning, much-published and radio-broadcast Horror, Gothic-Horror and Dark Poet, and Author, and a former Magazine Columnist with The Observer Series of Newspapers.  The Winners and Finalists Entries, and a number of Commended Entries, were published in the inaugural Issue - Publication Date: 30 April 2012 (Format: A4, Illustrated, Comb-bound). 
Thereafter, Contributing Poets, Illustrators and Writers are Invited to Submit their very best Horror and Dark Poetry, Writings, and Black and White Illustrations, for consideration for publication in the forthcoming Monthly Editions of the Magazine - and from August 2012 onwards the Outstanding Selected and Published Poem is Awarded: 'The Sinister Poetry Award', for that Edition - Please read the details featured below the Submission Guidelines should you wish to submit poems for consideration for both publishing in the Magazine and for selection for this Award
'The Poetry Box Halloween Silver Cup Poetry Award 2012' was open to all Poets and was launched to both celebrate Halloween - the highlight of the Dark and Horror Poets year - and - to celebrate the ongoing remarkable success of The Poetry Box Dark & Horror Poetry Magazine.  Please re-visit our website for the Halloween Poetry Annual Award Competition details in Autumn 2014.

Presentation: Typed - or - Clearly Handwritten - on A4 White Paper - Single Line Spacing
Illustrations:  Black and White Illustrations Preferred - On A4 White or Black Paper - Black & White Photographs Accepted
Presentation:  On A4 Paper - Not mounted/framed - Preferably NOT including the text of a Poem.
